The area lacks nearby activities. to find restaurants and shops, you’ll have to trek down a steep hill, which can be taxing, especially on the return. If you’re not in shape or are with older travelers, brace for some serious legwork. During my stay, the room didn’t offer much of a view, and the balcony setup was shared, which might not be the most appealing if you prefer private outside space.

I enjoyed my stay at The Freddie Mercury. The staff were incredibly polite, adding a nice touch to the experience. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the grilled sausages and baked tomatoes. My room, a Deluxe Quadruple Room, was spacious and featured a separate bathroom and toilet. Comfortable beds and chairs made it easy to relax. The design felt fresh and modern. I loved having a direct view of the railway station without being disturbed by much noise. However, I did notice some areas that could use improvement. The air conditioning was currently not allowed, making it a bit warm at times. Additionally, it would be beneficial if room safes were properly bolted since one of them had to be reset during my stay. Overall, a fantastic place, but a few adjustments could enhance the comfort further.

The layout of the room made using the light switches very inconvenient.

The room was super clean and had a decent size. Big bathroom with shower gel and shampoo was a nice touch. Plus, it came with coffee and water. The bed was comfy, and it felt modern, way better than some other places I’ve stayed in Switzerland. Location near the train station was really convenient for getting around. No complaints here!
